The Divani Caravel Hotel in Athens is an elegant, well-placed hotel with a view of the Acropolis. It's located in the southeast of the city center and has a large conference area, as well as a rooftop pool and bar. The area around the hotel features a number of restaurants and cafes.

The Rakáki Restaurant is a nice, little restaurant in the Kesariani suburban area of Athens. It has indoor and covered outdoor seating, and is not near the touristic areas. The outdoor seating area is across the sidewalk, and has heaters for when the weather is a bit colder. They have music playing, the restaurant is open every day, from around noon to past midnight.

The Oroscopo Restaurant is a Mediterranean restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. It has a larger number of tables on the main floor, and a couple of additional tables on the upper floor, which have a view over the main area and out onto the street.

The Διεθνες Ζαχαροπλαστείο Κλασσικ is a small pâtisserie and offers delicious greek pastries and a selection of ice cream. It has a couple of tables for indoor seating, there is no outdoor seating available.

The Runner is statue made from glass plates which are put on top of each other. The form and shape makes it look like the runner is sprinting over the plaza. It was designed and created by Greek artist Costas Varotsos.

The Ta Filetakia restaurant (Τα φιλετάκια) is a traditional Greek restaurant in the Dafni district. It is off the tourist areas and a recommendation by locals.

The Chapel of St. George is on Mount Lycabettus in the center of Athens. It was built in the 1870, and is a religious place and a tourist attraction.

The Barbaro Athens is a fine Mediterranean restaurant with indoor seating and live music. It opened in January 2024. The place has a smaller separate room in the front, towards the street, and a large room in the back, with the bar and the stage for live music.
